Neighbor Helping Neighbor
We provide a wide range of home maintenance and improvement services by volunteers for those with financial or physical challenges.
Here is how it works.
Our program is event based. We will send out calls for applications and will schedule events to help multiple people with a large number of volunteers. You can submit your application any time and it will be considered before the next event. Once we receive your application, we'll verify the request and match it with trained volunteers suited to the task. Our volunteers complete the work with care and respect for you and your home. Afterward, we follow up to make sure the job met your needs and to see whether there's any ongoing support we can offer. You'll be treated with kindness at every step.
How to apply
Applying is simple, you can fill out the application at the link below. If you prefer pen and paper, applications are available at City Hall and the Library. If you need assistance, you can email neighbor@greatertaylor.org or call 512-906-8444. Applications are accepted year-round, so you're always welcome to apply. When an event date is scheduled, there will be a deadline to be included in that event—but if your application arrives after the cutoff, it will simply be considered for our next event

Volunteer
Calling everyone with a heart to serve. We need both skilled labor and those with willing hands. The work we are doing is for your neighbors, your friends.
