Greater Taylor Community Foundation

The Greater Taylor Community Foundation is a public, nonprofit charity created by and for the people, enabling individuals with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the causes they care about in their community—encouraging everyone to "give where they live!"

As a tax-exempt public charity under 501(c)(3) of the IRS, donations to any fund at the Foundation, or to the Foundation itself, are immediately tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Our History

The Greater Taylor Community Foundation began the way most good things in small towns do; a group of community-minded folks saw a need and decided to do something about it. Taylor has always been a place where people show up for one another, and as the city has grown, so have the opportunities and the challenges.

What started as a grassroots effort to coordinate support quickly grew into a community-led foundation dedicated to fueling progress in thoughtful, sustainable ways. Today, we champion more than 30 local nonprofits, helping them stretch their resources further, strengthen their programs, and meet people right where they are.

To improve the quality of life in the Taylor Area by growing local generosity, making fair and responsible grants, protecting community trust, ,and bringing people together to strengthen our community.
